Alice Briones Jean, 72, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Freddie 'Fred' Jean, died Saturday evening, May 16, 2020, while resting on the shoulder of her husband of 46 years.
Born in San Antonio, Texas, she was a daughter of the late Ambrosio Briones and the late Mary Ann De La Garza. Alice was a member of Skidaway Island United Methodist Church. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Alice was passionate about developing leadership and building effective teams within small businesses. She was a former longtime member of Skidaway Rotary Club and a former member of the local Business Network International group. Her husband, her family, and her friends were her greatest love.
Surviving are her husband, Freddie 'Fred' Jean; two daughters, Tammy Jean Moreau (Cal) and Rachelle Jean Ramsey (Justin); two sons, Cary Brent Jean (Melissa) and Roque Jean (Kiersten); ten grandchildren, Caleb Moreau, Candace Moreau, Natalie Moreau, Leah Moreau, Michael Jean (Elizabeth), Brandon Jean (Meredith), Michelle Jean, Hannah Ramsey, Shelby Ramsey, and Justin Colt Ramsey; one great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Jean, and one sister, Audelia Briones.
A viewing will be from 11 until 5 o'clock Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
With concern for the safety and health of our family and friends, a memorial service will be held at Skidaway Island United Methodist Church at a later date.
A private graveside service will be held in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery conducted by the Reverend James W. Giddens.
