Agnes Decla Porter Mulligan, 78, of Statesboro, Georgia and widow of Francis 'Frank' Joseph Mulligan, died Thursday evening, January 25, 2018, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.
Born in Franklin, New Hampshire, she was a daughter of the late Alfred J. Porter and the late Henrietta Bil Porter. Agnes was a homemaker and a retired bookkeeper for Circle City Transport in Dothan, Alabama. She adored her family and loved shopping and knitting.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Nelson; a sister, Lois Annis, and two brothers, Robert Porter and Roger Porter.
Surviving are two daughters, Rhonda L. Bass and her husband, Mitchell III, of Statesboro, and Francine Clayton and her husband, Chris, of Dothan, Alabama; one son, Anthony Michael Notides of Leesburg, Florida; eight grandchildren, Damien Notides and his wife, Lauren, Bernard Nelson, Mason Redden and his wife, Lori, Jacquelyn Nicoli and her husband, Josh, Mitchell Bass IV, Jonah Redden, Logan Clayton and Lucas Clayton; one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Notides; two sisters, Lorraine DeForge and Bonnie Herlihy and her husband, Bob, and a number of nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
