SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - A'Jene "Smoke" Kiambu Flannings, 29, of Savannah, Georgia, died Friday evening, November 27, 2009, at Candler Hospital.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of Cindy Brown O'Neal and the late Edward Anthony Flannings. A'Jene was a member of Logos Faith Center and attended Jenkins High School. He was a music artist with Head Rush Entertainment and was a barber. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Annette B. Taylor and Theodore Walker, and his paternal grandparents, Julia Flannings and Benjamin Flannings, Sr.
Surviving are his mother, Cindy Brown O'Neal of Savannah, Georgia; three brothers, Kareem M. Flannings of Augusta, Georgia, Jonathan T. O'Neal of Savannah, Georgia, and Edward "Eddie" A. Flannings of Savannah, Georgia; one sister, Sydni D. O'Neal of Savannah, Georgia; his loving children, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Sunday at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Larry B. Bryant, Sr. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
